Toddlers are active, inquisitive and learn through play.
Buttons provides a gentle introduction into ‘nursery life’ with ample opportunities to explore, create and experiment with a variety of equipment and resources.
Activities are offered to stimulate the senses, develop physical and mental skills with an emphasis on personal and social development.

The children are encouraged to grow plants, flowers, and fruit and vegatables. They take great delight in caring for and nurturing these plants helping them to grow.
To ensure a smooth transition from the Baby unit to the Toddler unit we introduce the children to some play sessions a few weeks before moving.
We also have a provision that babies from 18 months old can be moved into the toddler unit if we, along with the parents/carers feel that this is suitable. This gives them the opportunity to get to know their peers, become familiar with the different surroundings and most importantly to try out the new toys!
